Meghan + Brian | Engagement | Rocks State Park

Would you believe me if I told you we nearly had the entire park TO OURSELVES! On a Saturday. The day before the Fourth of July!! Can you even?! Want to know my secret?? Ok here it is ... Have a quick chat with Mother Nature and have her unleash an absolute monsoon while you're driving to the session, with your clients in the car in might add, all while reassuring them you have indeed checked the weather and we should be fine. I'd be lying if I said I didn't have some doubts creep in, but almost just as we were pulling into the park it stopped and it turned out to be a beautiful night. The benefit of this monsoon was everyone left the park!! We couldn't have planned this better!

First we hiked up to the King & Queen Seat. Ever been? I had not. Turns out not the best place to go if you are scared of heights, but I put my professional pants on and held a steady hand and got some amazing shots!

Then we changed locations and went over to Kilgore Falls, still within the park, just a quick little drive and short walk to the falls.

And just because I am fun like that - we wrapped up the session with a splash fight. I am really happy they were good sports. I'd say they had fun :)

I am excited for their April 2022 wedding at Deer Creek! I know Meghan through my sister in law so I know that this wedding will be a great time!
