Danielle and Josh were married on a perfect fall October day at Fairwinds Farm in North East, Md. The property is so diverse in terms of backdrops for your photos, you can get a great variety. We did their engagement session here as well (you can read about that here) so we knew which spots we liked the most!

As part of my pre-wedding questionnaire, I always ask the couple how they met. Danielle and Josh worked (and still do!) down the hall from each other. Danielle shared that when Josh switched over to her branch he would join her and her other co-workers when they sat down for lunch. Josh finally worked up the courage to ask Danielle to get a drink in March 2018 and it took off from there.

I love a good proposal story and Josh really thought this one out. I definitely made Danielle tell me this story at least twice. Danielle tells it like this...

"Josh and his boys Aiden and Jace planned a scavenger hunt at Bear Legacy Adventure Trail in Abingdon. They gathered the items and made the clues together. Josh and Aiden went ahead of me and Jace to set up all of the items we needed to find and the clues to lead us to each item. The last clue lead Jace and me to this little hut that Josh and Aiden had decorated with white drapes and candles. They were also in button-downs and ties! Josh got down on one knee and popped the question and Aiden."

I know, right??

One of my favorite things is when couples find ways to incorporate meaningful touches into their wedding day. It is not uncommon for the couple to exchange a gift, but Danielle and the boys exchanged gifts as well and it was important for her and Josh that we were there to capture the opening of the gifts.

Their wedding colors were based around a lot of greenery, whites, burnt orange. It fit the venue and season so perfectly. They planned the most beautiful day. Wishing you a lifetime of love and happiness.
